My name is Chris. I have been working in the building industry since 1970
and have been helping clients with home design and building for over 30
years,starting out as an apprentice carpenter and progressing through all
aspects of building.
I have designed and built many hundreds of homes during my construction
history for clients, builders, as well as The Australian Defence Force (Defence
Service Homes) and the Queensland Housing Department.
I have provided services to the largest builders in Australia and also the
hands on builders that only build a few homes a year.
I have also supplied house plans to the Owner Builder Market and to the
local and overseas markets.
Over the years I have developed an easy to follow guide to achieve the look
and feel the clients require and also keep to their building budget.

Questions and Answers
Why North for living areas are Best?
North is the best position for all living rooms because you spend a lot of time, for the longest part of the
day. Living areas are also the easiest to shade from unwanted western sun in summer, having eaves the
right size will also shade north-facing rooms, as for winter when the sun is lower, sunlight will come in under
the eaves so facing the kitchen to the east will give morning sun when you need to warm up fast.
How do I create a wish list?
The best way is to 1st consider family size now and in the future for size of the home, e.g amount of
bedrooms, whether you are after 1 storey or 2 storey. We can create a functional floor plan without wasted
space and with plenty of storage.
